INTERIX DESIGN Studio was founded in Podgorica in 2020 by interior designer Miloš Belojević.

As an interior design studio, we are privileged to work closely with clients to transform their spaces into beautiful and functional environments that meet their unique needs and style preferences.

Here’s a first-person look at our business:

Consultations with clients: The first step is to meet with clients and have detailed discussions about their vision for the space. We ask questions to understand their lifestyle, requirements and design preferences. Building a strong relationship and trust with the client is key during this phase.

Concept Development: Armed with insights from client consultations, we embark on an exciting journey of design concept development. We spend time researching current design trends, exploring different color schemes, materials and textures. We create sketches and digital renderings to visually bring the concept to life.

Space Planning: With the concept in mind, we move on to space planning. We analyze the layout, flow and functionality of the space, ensuring the optimization of the available area. We take into account factors such as natural light and furniture placement to create a harmonious and practical layout.

Selection of materials and furniture: One of our favorite parts of the job is choosing materials, furniture and accessories that are in line with the design concept. We explore a wide range of options, taking into account factors such as durability, sustainability and the client’s budget. It’s an opportunity to combine different textures, colors and patterns to create a cohesive and visually appealing space.

Collaboration and project management: Collaboration is key in this business. We work closely with contractors and suppliers to ensure the design plan is executed flawlessly. We communicate design intent, coordinate schedules, and oversee the installation process. We deal with all challenges or changes that may arise during the project implementation phase.

Finishing touches: As the project nears completion, we focus on the finishing touches that elevate the space. We carefully arrange furniture, select artwork and add decorative elements to bring a sense of personality and style to the design. It is immensely satisfying to see the transformation and witness the joy and satisfaction of the client.

Each project is unique and presents its own set of challenges and triumphs. Being an interior designer requires a balance of creativity, technical expertise and strong communication skills. It is a profession that allows us to positively impact people’s lives by creating spaces that are not only visually stunning but also functional and adapted to their needs.
